Victor Babin

I’m a PhD student in Philosophy at Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM) and Lecturer in Ethics at École de technologie supérieure.

My current research focuses on political and social change. I’m particularly interested in emancipatory practices capable of abolishing or transforming dominant social norms.

In my master’s thesis on the deconstruction of violence in Walter Benjamin and Jacques Derrida, I explored how violence and sovereign power are intertwined.

I also serve as the webmaster for the francophone public philosophy journal Lampadaire.
